• The aim of our graduate programs in Curriculum and Instruction is to conduct academic studies in this field, to train specialists or assistant specialists in public and private schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, in the educational units of the ministry and affiliated institutions, and in the Board of Education and Instruction. In our program; providing a flexible, humane, humanistic, democratic, participatory atmosphere that can keep up with today's changing conditions, providing an effective education in line with the student's own interests and wishes, adherence to basic principles such as scientificity and ethics are taken into consideration. In the field of research, emphasis is placed on identifying Turkey's educational problems through scientific research, publishing the information to be obtained with the aim of contributing to the national as well as international literature, preparing more effective programs at undergraduate and graduate levels, and implementing basic and applied research in the field of education. It also aims to contribute to teachers and administrators working in schools to become more knowledgeable and creative practitioners.
• Under the Curriculum and Instruction Graduate Program, there is a Second Cycle Master's Program in International and Comparative Education with and without Thesis, which has been operating since 2019. This program has two main tasks. The first is to train people equipped with universal values and knowledge to address the needs of internationalizing education programs and systems, and the second is to train administrators and trainers who want to work and conduct research in different geographies around the world, who want to carry innovations in Turkey to different geographies and innovations in international geographies to Turkey, and who want to create an intercultural bond through education. In this direction, the main objective of the department is to train education specialists who have the knowledge and skills required by the 21st century and who can contribute to the accumulation of knowledge in the field of international education by combining theory and practice. In addition, the program also aims to improve the Turkish Education System by conducting basic and applied research.
