• The third seminar of the December seminars organized by the Institute of Educational Sciences and the Department of Educational Sciences, titled "Bilingualism and Intercultural Education: A Sociological Perspective", was successfully conducted by Lecturer Esra Molu on December 16, 2015 in lecture room 418 with the participation of local and international students. • The second of the December seminars organized by the Institute of Educational Sciences and the Department of Educational Sciences, "Gender Segregation in Public and Private Sphere: The Case of Turkish Women" was successfully held by Dr. Aslı Ermiş Mert, who received her PhD from Oxford University, on 14 December 2015 at the Faculty of Engineering Building B, Hall 144, with the participation of local and international students, in English, between 14:00-16:00. • On Friday, December 4, 2015, the fourth year students of the RPD undergraduate program and Italian, Spanish and German Erasmus students studying in our Department had an hour-long discussion on Labeling in Education and Special Education with the students of the Department of Psychology, Coventry University, UK via skype. • On November 11, 2015 at 14.00, in the context of the Bapko E Type Project (Improving the Use of Information Technologies by Educational Sciences Instructors) of the Department, Bapko representatives visited our department and received information about the development of E type projects during a meeting and classroom visit. • On Tuesday, October 13, between 14.30-16.00 in the classroom number 420, Lt. Esra Molu introduced the Erasmus Program and the agreements of our Department to the first year PDR students and gave information about the application conditions.

• A video was made by the European Commission about the Erasmus + Program and its benefits for students, a video was requested by the Turkish National Agency of the Ministry for EU Affairs to be shot with a student from our University to represent Turkey, K.Gamze Alçekiç Yaman, PhD student of the Institute of Educational Sciences of our University and Research Assistant of the Department of Educational Sciences, was selected for the video shooting and she talked about her achievements as a student benefiting from the Erasmus + program during the shootings held on Thursday, July 02, 2015 at Goztepe and Haydarpasa Campuses.
